June 30 - July 5th
This week is uniquely designed for
pre-adolescent children who need help getting and staying "On
Track" for life. The goal is help build a focused foundation for
healthy decision making prior to reaching the teenage stage of life.
During the week campers will be faced with practical and biblical
instruction to help them understand the role that God has for parents
in their lives. The "On Track" program is bathed in fun and
excitement and is designed to help the camper to enjoy his or her
week, all the while setting on course a "vessel fit for the master's
use."
This week is NOT for children that have
been in trouble with the law or have been institutionalized. Rather,
it is for children who may be headed in a dangerous direction. If a
parent's goal is to get their child "On Track" before it is
to late, this may be the week to get this done. Campers are removed
from their day to day schedule and placed in a controlled environment
where they are isolated from their regular comfort zones. This allows
for a "reality check" and produces an awareness for what is
really important in life. It can also provide a new-found appreciation
for what God has already blessed them with.
In addition to setting children
"On Track". This is an action packed, six day, introduction to survival in the remote
Appalachian forests. This adventurous six days includes,
hiking, outdoor cooking, climbing, fire building, shelter building,
part of our ropes course and
much more. This fast-paced exciting adventure is a
wonderful tool to teach and prepare children for life. Immersed in fun,
campers will learn obedience and respect while learning to work
together with others. Each camper will have the opportunity to try
their skills on our low ropes course, our zip line, as well as our simulated
rock-climbing wall. This camp is for boys and girls entering the 3rd -
6th grades. The total cost is $235.00.

"Our
method is simple, yet affective. Children need to be
taught respect and shown love. We believe that God gives
children parents for purpose of raising them and preparing
them for the future. We are here to assist parents in this difficult
process and to help build a strong and vital child / parent relationship.
Our trained staff will
guides campers on their fun learning journey. We have a better
than 4 to
1 staff / camper ratio to ensure that campers are safe and
have their needs met individually. Each camper will
participate in morning and evening chapel services, where they
will hear preaching and be challenged from the Word of God. In
addition to chapel, campers will also have nightly group
devotions and personal devotions each morning before they
start their day. This program, along with each program we have,
is designed to point the camper to a real and lasting relationship
with Jesus Christ. We want to assist parents and churches in
developing Godly character in the lives of young people."
Our goal is to set "ON TRACK" a vessel fit for the
masters use.
